Duration : 1.5 Months

Our Lapa Health post Volunteer Program mobilizes medical personnel and health experts to the remote area where the government is unable to provide formal health care. With health infrastructure alack, many people in rural villages are required to travel impossible distances just to receive basic medical attention. Further, superstition and orthodox methods of treatment is persistent in remote villages. Witchdoctors and shamans are revered as all-cures because there is no access to modern medicine.

Our work is particularly focused on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), as well as nutrition and immunizations targeted at women and children and exposure of rural Nepali people to modern medicine. In addition to volunteers, we are seeking supporters and contributors to establish a health post in other close by villages. We plan to construct an advanced facility, fully equipped and staffed, which would serve more than 3,000 locals from thirty different villages.

The main motive of our company to organize such trip is to help its CSR Company to reach the top level and try our best to minimize the health problems sustained in the community.

For transportation to and from the village will be in 4WD/SUV vehicles. The remote Lapa village is NOT connected by tarred multi-laned roads. There are single lane dirt tracks which run along the side of large hills, are very bumpy and prone to landslides, especially during the monsoon season (June - September) and its about 12 hours walk after the SUV ride. We assure you that all our drivers are very experienced in driving on these roads. We will make all necessary arrangements to ensure that you reach your destination safely.

We spend some time to wander at trails along Lapa socializing with the locals. On the way, you will be enchanted by the scenic beauty of the hills and captivated by seeing the village settlement. Our team as well as the local people will warmly accompany you to reach the village where you will stay with the locals or in a tent on your way to Lapa.
