Earth journey is the practical journey to your quest to inner exploration. You will be associated with physically active energy to produce a state of mind that can serve as a firm basis for the liberating insight into the true nature. The journey opens the door to freedom. and is the most stable and persistent of the four elements. You will be indulged actively to share the cultural lives of locals and the incredible landscapes, creating the awareness within you through realization.


Your guide will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and s/he will be displaying a Mystical Journeys signboard outside the airport terminal. You will then be transffered to your respective premium hotel in our private tourist vehicle and the rest of the day is at leisure to recover from the flight. We will host you welcome dinner in Kathmandu. After dinner you will be dropped to the hotel.

This is a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu.  We start at 8 AM and much of the day to day life of Kathmandu takes place in the bazaar-a fascinating mixture of people selling fruit, vegetables and spices; potters spinning their wheels to produce small household bowls and containers for temple offerings; devotees visiting their favourite gods at temples and small shrines dotted along the sides of alleyways; rickshaw wallahs honking their horns and the ever present sacred cow wandering amongst it all. In the afternoon we plan to visit the Temple of Pashupatinath on the banks of the Bagmati River, the holiest Hindu shrine in Nepal. We will also visit and also Bodnath, the largest stupa in the country and a destination for Buddhist pilgrims from all over Nepal.

In the morning we visit the almost perfectly preserved city of Bhaktapur, also known as Bhadgaun or City of the Devotees. Bhaktapur feels more like a huge medieval village with its potters wheels and its many intricate stone and wooden carvings. We then continue to our lodge at Nagarkot on the Kathmandu Valley rim.

Nagarkot is just 35 km North East of Kathmandu here, you can enjoy the Himalayan views from the comfort of your hotel balcony. The village is packed with hotels, stacked up on a ridge facing one of the broadest possible views of the Himalaya.
We make a pre-dawn walk from our lodge to a nearby hilltop along the ridge to catch a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas, and then return to the lodge for a late breakfast. There are many other possibilities for short walks during AM, including visits to neighbouring farms growing crops of fruit, vegetables and grain, under the spectacular backdrop of the snow capped Himalayan peaks.


We leave Nagarkot after our Lunch and take a hour long drive to Dhulikhel.

Dhulikhel (altitude 1,440 m), a small town with  a long history  lies 32 km to the east of Kathmandu, it is about one hour drive from Nagarkot. More than 500 years ago, Dhulikhel flourished as a trading center handling commerce between Kathmandu and Lhasa . The artistic skill and urban ethos of its Newar inhabitants have created a place of charm and beauty. Streets lined with bare-brick houses, carved wooden windows, sloping tile roofs, pagoda temples and sacred statues everywhere. Today, it delights visitors with its enchanting cultural heritage and stunning Himalayan views.

In Dhulikhel, you will be stying at Dwarika’s Resort Dhulikhel for a holistic lifestyle retreat, drawing on ancient Himalayan knowledge and philosophy of care for nature and for one’s self. Set in magnificent natural surroundings, the place offers a place in which to contemplate, to learn and to explore the connectedness between mind, body and earth.

We make a morning departure to drive out of the resort and descend to the foothills at the much lower altitude of about 262m. As we leave the valley, on clear days we will have views of the Ganesh, Manaslu and Annapurna ranges of the Himalaya. En route we have the option of a half-day's whitewater rafting on the Trisuli River (Grade III-III+). With pool and drop rapids, there is plenty of time in between the excitement to enjoy swimming, cliff jumping and simply soaking up the beautiful scenery.No previous experience required. Includes all permits, services of experienced river guides, helmet, life jacket and lunch. We recommend that you are confident swimming for at least 25 metres unaided if participating in the rafting. As the rafting finishes at the beach just below our accommodation, those who do not wish to raft may relax by the hotel pool.

Next day, after breakfast, we make our way to the small hill bazaar of Gorkha (1 1/2 hour's drive) where the surfaced road ends. The town which gave the feared Gurkha soldiers their name was also the place from which King Prithvi Narayan Shah set out to unify Nepal in the 18th century. A walk up to the ridge on which stands his old palace fort is well worth the climb. The view over the surrounding Annapurna and Manaslu ranges is spectacular.

In the morning there is an option to visit the nearby Manakamana Temple (1302m), the sacred place of the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati, using Nepal's only cable car imported from Austria and inaugurated in 1998. Local people call the goddess the wish fulfilling deity and the temple is a popular pilgrimage site. Afterwards, we continue our journey on to Pokhara, some 3 1/2 hour drive situated beside Lake Phewa Tal beneath the Annapurna range.

On our first morning in Pokhara, we take a walk through some small Gurung and Chettri settlements, to a ridge above Pokhara. From this ridge there are spectacular views of the mountains making up the Annapurna range which at this point are only 48km away - from Dhaulagiri in the west to Annapurna II in the east. The rest of the day is left free to explore the tranquil town of Pokhara, perhaps taking a boat trip on the lake, or simply sitting back and admiring the breathtaking beauty all around. We will leave the town late afetrnoon and go to Dhampus for spectacular sunrise.

A late afternoon one and half hour drive from Pokhara takes us to beautiful Dhampus village is 18KM from Pokhara towards north east. It is situated at an altitude of 1750m which is popular to see to its beauty and panoramic Himalayan view to the north including (Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Fishtail, Mr. Manaslu and other peaks. We will witness the amazing sunset from Himalaya.
Dhampus is a Gurung village which is rich in its culture and tradition.  We can see a local people at work in a traditional way like plough the field, carrying the things in the bamboo basket in their back, taking bath in open tap or a children playing in muddy field.

A beautiful sunrise on the Himalayas from Dhampus in just breathtaking. After breakfast, the walk  through the forest is equally scenic. Dhampus is not just a mountain view point but a culturally rich village of the ethnic Gurung people. You will also have an opportunity for a close look at the daily lives of the villagers.  The rest of the day is left free to explore the peace and serenity of the country side and explore the culture and lifestyle of Dhampus.

Leaving Dhampus we take a 2 1/2 hours drive to the hilltop town of Bandipur. This place is a living museum of Newari culture, a beautifully preserved village crowning a lofty ridge above the highway stop of Dumre. Its winding lanes are lined with traditional Newari houses. Time seems to have stood still here, although it has taken a lot of effort to preserve the magic while developing the town as a destination.

Today we drive from Bandipur to Chitwan National Park. It takes about 3 hours to reach there.

Once a private hunting ground, Chitwan is now a National Park, with thick tree cover and tall elephant grass sheltering a wealth of animals, most famously the one-horned Rhino. Our lodge is located just across the Rapti River, outside the park, near the village of Baghmara. Throughout your stay you will be kept busy during the day (except for a couple of hours around lunch time) with many activities available, including jeep safaris searching out the one-horned rhino, bird watching, jungle walks and drives and dugout canoe trips along the Rapti River. Canoeing will be dependent on the water level, floating silently down the river in a traditional dugout canoe gives us the opportunity to spot many varieties of water birds. On a nature walk in the company of trained native naturalists you can walk along trails in the less densely forested parts of the park. An early morning bird watching walk near the river will reveal many of the 450 bird species that can be found in the park, especially kingfisher. A trained naturalist will help you get the best enjoyment and interest from these excursions.

Today we continue our exploration of Chitwan National Park on foot, by canoe and with an afternoon jeep safari.

After a final walk through the park we take the breakfast and depart for Kathmandu (approximately 5-6 hours).

Today is left free to explore Kathmandu. There is the option to visit Swayambunath after breakfast. Perched on a hilltop, Swayambhunath is an ancient Buddhist religious stupa situated on the top of the hill in the western part of the Kathmandu city. It is also famous by the name of Monkey Temple as there are a lot of monkeys living around the north west part of the temple and also famous for the many varieties of the trees found at the hill in which Swayambhunath temple resides.

After breakfast, depending on your schedule of your flight your guide will take you to the airport for your flight back home.
